The House of Coco Chanel

Well, I'm still desperately trying to match a flame to a title and I wanted to call this French Kiss but I figured I'd get too many jokes.

So that title will just have to wait.



Coco Chanel, for some of you that probably don't know because you might be too young was a fashion designer who revolutionized women's fashions & brought "the little black dress" into fashion.

She was quoted as saying "simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance." Her influence on haute couture was such that she was the only person in the field to be named on TIME Magazine's 100 most influential people of the 20th century.

A lady of very humble beginnings who rose to become a leading light in the design world ... and her influence on design is timeless.
