Scientists tell us that our Earth revolves around our sun, that other, countless planets revolve around other unknown suns. That these are the points of light that we see in our night sky. Scientists also claim that it's our rotation around our sun that's causing the stars to shift position, so we see them in different parts of the sky depending on the time of year.
It's a lie.
In all actuality, the stars wheel & waltz & leap & dance with unbound, unfettered joy when they came across a house filled with love. It's love that alters everything. Love is a miracle & the stars above know it & honor it.
On The Street Where You Live
Words and Music by Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe
from the Broadway musical "My Fair Lady"
I have often walked down this street before
But the pavement always stayed beneath my feet before
All at once am I several stories high
Knowing I'm on the street where you live
Are there lilac trees in the heart of town?
Can you hear a lark in any other part of town?
Does enchantment pour out of every door?
No, it's just on the street where you live
And oh, the towering feeling just to know somehow you are near
The overpowering feeling that any second you may suddenly appear
People stop and stare, they don't bother me
For there's nowhere else on earth that I would rather be
Let the time go by, I won't care if I
Can be here on the street where you live
